Hamburg Airport Arrival
There is a train from Hamburg Central Station Hamburg via Luebeck directly to Travemuende-Strandbahnhof where the train ends and that is only 300/400m walk to the dinghy park! That train runs every half hour and takes 1hour 15 minutes. It is a slow regional train, but is only 19 Euros so just transfer from Hamburg Airport with the direct city line to Hamburg Central Station and get the train to Travemuende
Travemuende holds a In-River Race during the week that is watched by hundreds of spectators. The 29er sailors have a chance to be part of this. Attached is the pdf of the In-River races. More information will be available at the registration desk on-site.
